Myra Lehenga In UK

RaiR Myra — Fourteen Lehengas, All Made to Measure

Myra is the most consistent of RaiR's lehenga lines. Fourteen designs, every one cut to your own measurements, and no readymade stock at all which means nothing here is limited to whichever size happens to be in the warehouse. Twelve of the fourteen are umbrella lehengas, with two A-line. The work is embroidery and sequins across the whole collection, with zari layered over on five designs. Fabrics run to faux georgette for drape, art silk for weight and sheen, organza for a lighter finish, and one chinon piece. Where Myra separates itself is colour. Beige, brown, white, pista and mint green, dark green, navy, blue, black, purple, orange, yellow and red a range wide enough that you can dress for a daytime function and an evening reception from the same line without repeating a shade. The beige and brown silk pieces in particular are unusual; very few Indian lehenga collections carry them, and they photograph beautifully against British autumn light.

Prices sit between a hundred and forty-five and two hundred and fifty-two, placing this at the upper-middle of the RaiR range more embellished than Kumkum or Taragini, below the hand-worked Azaad pieces.

Sizing runs 32 to 56 and, because everything is made to measure, the full range genuinely applies rather than being a nominal listing. Half the collection carries squad pricing when several people order the same design, which is practical if you're coordinating bridesmaids across different colourways of the same lehenga. Ten designs are sleeveless or half-sleeve, so plan a jacket or shawl layer for a winter function. Cbazaar manufactures in India and works directly with the embroidery karigars behind this sequin and zari work, which is why made-to-measure lehengas at this finish sit well below UK boutique pricing.
