Designs Of Shagun Lehenga

RaiR Shagun — Nineteen Lehengas, All Cut to Your Measurements

Shagun is RaiR's lehenga line, and the largest of the label's edits after Sukoon. Nineteen designs, every one made to measure nothing here is bought off a rail and altered afterwards. The split is between A-line and umbrella silhouettes, roughly even. A-line pieces come as full sets with matching choli and dupatta, and sit slightly lighter on the body; the umbrella lehengas give the fuller circular flare that photographs best in movement. Nearly every design carries thread or zari embroidery with sequin work, with one mirror-and-foil piece for something more textural. Fabric leans to faux georgette for its drape, with art silk, net, and a deep green velvet for winter functions a genuinely useful option for a UK wedding season that runs into December. The colour range is where Shagun earns its place. Wine, dark wine and brown at the deeper end, navy and rama blue, deep green, purple, peach, pink and yellow, with red for anyone wanting the traditional ceremony shade. The absence of a single dominant colour makes this the RaiR line to browse if you're dressing as a bridesmaid or wedding guest and need to avoid clashing with the bride.

Sizing runs 32 to 56, and several designs carry squad pricing when a group orders the same style practical if the bride's sisters or friends want to coordinate. Prices run from just under a hundred to around two hundred and forty, placing this mid-range within RaiR: more embellished than Indi Raaga or Taragini, more accessible than Azaad. Cbazaar manufactures in India and works directly with the embroidery karigars behind this thread and sequin work, which is why a made-to-measure lehenga at this finish costs a fraction of a comparable UK boutique piece. A stylist can show you the embroidery over live video before you order.
