Velvet Sherwanis for Men in Canada

Velvet sherwanis hold a particular appeal for Indian weddings taking place during Canada's colder months, offering both a rich, formal appearance and the warmth needed for winter ceremonies and receptions. Velvet's dense texture and deep colour saturation give sherwanis a more regal look than lighter fabrics, which is why it remains a top choice for grooms and close family members at winter weddings, engagement functions, and formal receptions.

Cbazaar's velvet sherwani collection features detailed embroidery across the chest, collar, and cuffs, often combined with zari or thread work in gold, silver, or matching tones to add contrast against the velvet base. Colour choices range from deep maroon and emerald green to classic black and navy, each suited to different wedding themes and personal preferences. Many customers also choose velvet sherwanis specifically for reception functions, where a heavier, more formal fabric is expected compared to daytime ceremonies like haldi or mehndi.

Because velvet sherwanis are typically part of a groom's most important outfit, fit is critical, and Cbazaar offers made-to-measure sizing so the garment is tailored to the individual's measurements rather than a standard size range. This is particularly valuable for Canadian customers who don't have easy access to specialist sherwani tailors locally and would otherwise need to rely on generic sizing or costly local alterations.

All velvet sherwanis are manufactured in India, where Cbazaar works with tailors experienced in structured groomswear construction, including proper lining and interfacing needed to keep velvet garments holding their shape through a full day of wear. Shipping to Canada is duty and tax paid, with standard delivery taking 9 to 14 business days from dispatch. Given the formal nature and custom sizing involved, express delivery in 3 to 6 business days is available for grooms ordering closer to their wedding date, though earlier ordering is always recommended for custom pieces.

If the fit needs adjustment after trying the sherwani on, Cbazaar's 30-day return and exchange policy applies to unworn, unaltered pieces. For grooms and families across Canada searching for a formal, winter-appropriate sherwani that combines traditional embroidery with a tailored fit, Cbazaar's velvet sherwani collection is designed specifically for the demands of Canadian wedding season.
