What is a Cbazaar Fit Trial?
A Fit Trial is a fully stitched sample outfit - a skirt and blouse in your size, made in plain georgette - that we send before we cut and stitch your actual order. Instead of relying on a measurement chart alone, you get to feel the real fit on your body first. Once you tell us what to change, we stitch your main outfit to match.
Why is the trial outfit a plain black georgette set?
The georgette fabric closely mimics the drape and fit of many of our ethnic wear styles, helping you experience a trial that reflects how your final outfit will sit. We chose classic black for its versatility, so once the trial is complete, you can keep and reuse it as a stylish everyday skirt-and-blouse set.
What to check during your trial
- Bust - snug but comfortable, no gaping or pulling.
- Waist - sits where you want it, no digging in.
- Hip - smooth over the widest point with room to move.
- Length - hem falls where youd like for your footwear.
Note anything that feels off in the Fit Check Form - even small changes help us stitch a better final fit.
The 24-hour window
We pause your main outfit at stitching stage and hold it until your form arrives. Submitting within 24 hours keeps your order moving so it ships on schedule. If adjustments fall outside standard sizing, we automatically upgrade you to Made to Measure at no extra cost.
Frequently asked questions
The blouse is the hardest part to get right online - how does Fit Trial help?
The blouse is where most online ethnic wear orders go wrong. It needs to be snug at the bust, not cut into the underarm, and sit at the right length. The trial outfit is stitched in your bust size, so you can feel exactly how the fit sits across the back, at the underarm, and at the front. Whatever needs adjusting, you tell us in your Fit Check Form and we use that to stitch your main blouse.
Ive ordered from other brands and the skirt and blouse came in completely different sizes. Does that happen here?
Thats a real problem with some brands. At Cbazaar, the trial skirt and blouse are both stitched to the same bust size, and your main outfit uses the same measurements. If the trial reveals your skirt needs more room in the hip than your standard size allows, we note it and upgrade you to Made to Measure at no extra cost.
Im a UK size 12 / US size 8. What size should I order?
Western dress sizes dont map reliably to Indian ethnic wear the same woman can be three different sizes depending on the brand and silhouette. This is exactly why Fit Trial exists. Select your bust size, try the trial, and let us know if anything needs changing before we stitch.
My wedding / event is in 6 weeks. Is there enough time?
Yes, if you order now. Fit Trial adds approximately 7 days to your delivery the trial ships first, you submit your Fit Check Form within 24 hours of receiving it, and we start stitching your main outfit immediately after. If you have a hard event date, mention it in the Fit Check Form and our team will prioritise your order.
What if the trial arrives and it doesnt fit at all — completely wrong?
Tell us everything in your Fit Check Form — every measurement thats off. Thats the whole point of the trial. We stitch your main outfit only after we have your feedback, so nothing is wasted. If the adjustments go beyond standard sizing, we upgrade you to Made to Measure automatically at no extra cost.
Can I wear the trial outfit to see how the length sits with my heels?
Yes and we recommend it. Lehenga length is one of the most common issues with online orders. Try the trial skirt on with the exact footwear you plan to wear to your event, and note the length in your Fit Check Form. Well stitch the hem of your main outfit to that measurement.
What happens to the $25 if I decide not to order the main outfit after the trial?
The $25 covers the cost of stitching and shipping your trial outfit its not a deposit. The trial outfit is yours to keep regardless. If you decide not to proceed with the main outfit, simply dont submit the Fit Check Form and your order will not be stitched.
Ive never measured myself properly. Will I get it wrong?
Your trial outfit is stitched to your standard bust size you dont need to measure yourself to get started. Once it arrives, simply try it on and describe what feels off in plain language the blouse feels tight across the back or the skirt hits above my ankle. Our team translates that into measurements.
