Can I wear a saree as a Lehenga without using a petticoat?
The difference between a sherwani and an achkan is mainly in terms of fit and length. A sherwani tends to be more voluminous, knee-length or below, and is more decorated with heavy embroidery on the body. An achkan, as opposed to this, falls normally just above the knee or up to the waist, offering a more structured fit, and a more streamlined silhouette.
