What colours should I avoid at an Indian wedding?

Avoid all white as it is associated with mourning in many Indian cultures. All-black outfits are traditionally avoided at the wedding ceremony, though this is increasingly common at receptions and Sangeet nights. When in doubt, choose rich jewel tones deep blues, greens, pinks and golds are always safe choices.
