Among the current Bollywood celebrities, Vidya Balan is one of those who have strongly advocated Indian Fashion as opposed to most celebs who swear by Western designer labels. Sure, she did have her fashion disaster phase but what is more important is that she has evolved as a celebrity with a good sense of ethnic Indian fashion over a period of time.
Vidya Balan comes across as a quintessential Indian woman and having realized this, her fashion sense has progressed from being a complete disaster to fairly amazing. She looks absolutely amazing draped in a Saree, no two ways about it. Its little surprise that Sabyasachi Mukherjee happens to be her favourite designer - she looks unquestionably fab in his Sarees. Spotted in one of his creations, Vidya Balan fetched quite a few compliments at the 55th Filmfare Awards 2010. And its only natural that Priya was smitten with the very same Saree.
The orange and yellow Sarees that Vidya was spotted in did much to enhance her beautiful glow. Priya wanted us to make the Saree in a similar color combination. The Saree including the pleats was made of orange Benarasi fabric featuring zari woven motifs while the Pallu was made of deep yellow net. Embroidered black border further made the Saree attractive. It was paired with deep pinkish maroon Saree Blouse with contrast black sleeves featuring bold embroidered design.
We are sure Priya would have looked just stunning draped in this vibrant Saree.
