Ochre

A dark and deep shade of yellow with a reddish or brownish tint. Not as bright or resplendent as other shades of yellow, ochre is considered more of an earthy tone thanks to its brownish hue. Ochre is among the earliest color pigments used by mankind derived from naturally tinted clay containing mineral oxides. It comes in shades of red, brown and yellow. Ochre looks equally good when combined with, both, light and deep shades. Since this is an earthy tone, pairing it with greens and browns would be splendid. Ochre looks fabulous on wheatish to dusky skin tones. Consider gold, antique gold or copper colored jewellery with ochre clothes.
